their whole selves to work. The U.S. Insurance Companies Compliance
team is seeking a Compliance Specialist to support annuity product
initiatives within the Product Compliance division, based in
Woodland Hills with a hybrid work environment. This role is ideal
for a professional who thrives in a highly collaborative
environment, working closely with Product Management to ensure
product innovation and enhancements are delivered in a compliant,
well-governed manner. Additionally, the role provides visibility
with senior leaders and the chance to contribute meaningfully to a
Product Compliance program that supports innovation while
maintaining the highest standards of regulatory integrity. The
Compliance Specialist will serve as a key partner to Product
Management, providing guidance, structure, and clarity throughout
the product lifecycle—from concept through launch and ongoing
enhancements. This individual will balance attention to detail with
an understanding of overall business strategy and will be
comfortable sharing viewpoints, influencing discussions, and
preparing executive-level briefings related to product compliance
efforts. While experience with annuity products is a plus, this
role is especially well-suited for a strong communicator and quick
learner who can synthesize complex regulatory concepts and
translate them into practical guidance that supports Product
Management objectives. Key Responsibilities Facilitate the product
compliance review process by identifying regulatory considerations,
potential risks, and required controls related to annuity products.
Build and maintain strong working relationships across Product
Management, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Legal, and Compliance
teams supporting Individual Retirement to ensure consistent and
coordinated compliance support for product initiatives. Represent
Product Compliance on cross-functional product working groups,
contributing perspectives, raising risks early, and supporting
product governance guidelines. Coordinate and report on Product
Compliance initiatives, activities, and key milestones related to
product development and enhancements. Developing clear, concise
executive briefings, summaries, and presentations that communicate
progress, risks, and recommendations. Provide regular updates to
senior leaders on product-related compliance work, emerging issues,
and priorities. Support surveillance and monitoring activities
designed to identify product-related risks and mitigation
strategies. Qualifications and Skill Sets Required Bachelor’s
degree or evidence of advanced financial services industry
experience required. Exceptional writing, communication, and
presentation skills, including experience preparing materials for
executive and senior leadership audiences. Ability to think
strategically while managing detailed execution across multiple
product initiatives. Quick learner with the ability to understand
product structures, features, and regulatory considerations
efficiently. Confidence and presence to speak up in meetings, share
viewpoints, and engage leaders in a constructive manner. Strong
judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify
compliant, practical solutions that support business objectives.
Able to appropriately prioritize workload and execute a high-volume
of work in a timely fashion using organizational and multitasking
skills. Ability to analyze and interpret information to present it
in a meaningful and engaging manner to various executives and
leaders. Experience with annuity products (Fixed, Indexed,
Registered Index-Linked, or Variable) is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with FINRA rules, SEC regulations, and NAIC Model
Regulations is a plus but not required. Compensation The
anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000 at
the commencement of employment for the Woodland Hills, CA area. Not
all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary
range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent
on multiple factors, which may include the candidate’s geographic
location, skills, experience and other qualifications. In addition,
the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance
with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. Corebridge also
