\n\n Essentials Duties: \n\n \n\n--\n\n Manage a team of 6 Accounting Staffs Review various projects performed by the Accountants to ensure priorities and appropriate procedures are being maintained Assist in developing plans, priorities, and work assignments to achieve department goals Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close and financial reporting Manage all aspects of the general ledger including but not limited to closing process and review of monthly financial statements and analyze for completeness and accuracy Review supporting schedules and analyses of general ledger accounts for monthly and year-end closing Responsible for timely monthly closing Researching accounting issues for compliance with GAAP Manage and recommends the implementation of policies and procedures for the general ledger to ensure established accounting policies and procedures Work closely with Controller in communicating and assessing productivity and results Other duties as assigned \n\n--\n\n \n\n Job Qualifications: \n\n \n\n -- \n\n Bachelor---s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field 5-10 years of experience in Corporate Accounting and/or Financial Reporting At least 3 years of supervisory experience managing a team CPA is highly preferred Some Public Accounting experience is a plus \n\n--\n\n
