Patent Prosecution Attorney - Irvine or San Francisco A growing
intellectual property practice is seeking a Patent Prosecution
Attorney to join its California-based team in either Irvine or San
Francisco . This role offers the opportunity to work with
innovative clients on sophisticated patent matters, including
drafting and prosecuting U.S. and international patent
applications. The ideal candidate has a strong technical
background, excellent writing skills, and a collaborative,
client-focused approach. Salary & Benefits Competitive base salary
range of $175,000 - $250,000, depending on experience and technical

arrangements, depending on experience Qualifications J.D. from an
accredited law school Admission to the California Bar or ability to
waive in Registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office 2
years of patent prosecution experience Technical background in
engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical
engineering, or a related field Experience drafting and prosecuting
U.S. patent applications Strong written communication and
analytical skills Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
Responsibilities Draft and prosecute U.S. patent applications
before the USPTO Prepare and respond to Office Actions and conduct
examiner interviews Perform patentability and prior art analyses
Collaborate with inventors and clients to develop patent strategies
Assist with patent portfolio management and prosecution strategy -
