Overview

Deposit Account Services is responsible for the Bank's Unclaimed Property reporting to the states and annual year-end reporting to the IRS. The Deposit Account Services Specialist III is responsible for determining the appropriate disbursement of all outstanding financial items in accordance with Company and regulatory guidelines and report unclaimed properties to all 52 states annually. Additional responsibilities will include the review of year-end reports, database analysis and assist with year-end reporting to the IRS.

Responsibilities

* Strong knowledge of States Unclaimed Property Laws & Regulation for annual submission of Unclaimed Property Reports
* Learn Bank guidelines for reporting dormant accounts and perform database analysis to identify accounts that are reportable to the states
* Analyze and research outstanding negotiable items for annual reporting
* Provide support to internal and outside customers in a wide range of bank products and services, including customer reclaim of dormant items
* Work with management on special projects for year-end reporting and other reports enhancement
* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
* 2 to 4 years of unclaimed property compliance expertise
* Experience in Banking and Banking operations
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
* Self-motivated individual with excellent time management and organizational skills

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $26.00/Hr. - USD $31.00/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
