Lakewood, California, 90712! Job Title: Registered Nurse

with Epic charting system - Travel experience required Description:
The Registered Nurse will work in the Cath Lab setting. The nurse
will provide care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. The
role requires experience in diagnostic and interventional
catheterizations. Duties include monitoring patients during and
after procedures. The nurse will administer and monitor procedural
sedation. Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias are
essential skills. The nurse must be able to manage pulmonary artery
lines and Swan Ganz monitoring. Previous charge experience is
preferred. The schedule consists of Monday through Friday with the
potential for occasional early starts. There is a requirement to
cover weekend shifts as needed. All nurses must adhere to
vaccination requirements including COVID-19 and flu. Two supervisor
references are required when applying. CPI Blue Card from the
Crisis Prevention Institute is mandatory. Candidates must have the
required certifications in hand during application. No requests for
time off will be accepted within the first two weeks of the
assignment. All time-off requests must be submitted with the
application and cannot be changed later. Local candidates will be
considered at the same rate as travelers. The manager may opt to
conduct interviews, and candidates should be prepared for this. 5
